Birds of a Feather | Painting

What fun! This was my biggest piece of art and most liberating commission to date. A massive two meter by three meter custom painting created for Marktfees - a premier and exclusive gift fair event held once a year in my hometown. The theme for this year was 'Birds of a Feather', and I was only give a rough colour palette, a love of texture and a few reference images to draw inspiration from. And this is the result - a big piece of expressive art as an ode to nature and the beauty she gives us.
